✨

Turned, not squeezed

  • Runs on your device, so private videos are never uploaded.
  • The preview turns with your choice before anything is saved.
  • A sideways turn swaps the width and height, so the picture is never squeezed.
  • No watermark and no signup.
🎯

Fix how the video plays

  • Fix a phone video that plays sideways.
  • Mirror a selfie video so the writing reads the right way round.
  • Turn a landscape clip into a portrait one for a vertical feed.
  • Flip a video upside down that was filmed from an odd angle.

About Rotate & Flip Video

A live preview

The preview turns and mirrors as you choose, so you see the result before saving. Nothing is changed until you save.

Sizes that follow the turn

A quarter turn swaps the frame's width and height, so a 1920×1080 video becomes 1080×1920 and keeps every pixel.

Local and honest

Decoding and encoding use your browser's own codecs. The picture is re-encoded at high quality; the sound is copied into the new file.

FAQ

Common questions.

Have more questions? Reach out via our contact page and we will respond within 24 hours.

Is my video uploaded?

No. It is read, turned and saved in your browser, and the file never leaves your device.

Does rotating lose quality?

The picture is re-encoded at high quality, so the change is hard to see. The sound is kept.

Why are the width and height swapped?

A 90° or 270° turn makes a landscape video portrait, so the saved video is as tall as the original was wide.

What is the difference between flipping and rotating?

Rotating turns the picture; flipping mirrors it. You can do both at once.

Which formats are saved?

MP4 (H.264) where your browser can encode it, otherwise WebM.
