Natural voices at any speed

  • Runs on your device, so private videos are never uploaded.
  • Keeps voices at their natural pitch, or lets them speed up like a tape.

  • Shows the new length as you choose.
🎯

Faster, slower, or silent

  • Speed up a long tutorial or a time-lapse.
  • Turn a talk into a 1.5× version that still sounds natural.
  • Make a fast, silent clip for a background loop.

About Video Speed Changer

Change a video's speed in the browserNatural voices at any speedFaster, slower, or silent

Pitch you choose

With keep pitch on, the sound is time-stretched so voices stay natural; off, the pitch follows the speed like a tape.

See it before saving

The preview plays at the chosen speed with the same pitch setting, and the new length is shown before you save.

Local and honest

Decoding and encoding run in your browser. Slow motion repeats frames rather than inventing new ones.

FAQ

Common questions.

Have more questions? Reach out via our contact page and we will respond within 24 hours.

Is my video uploaded?

No. It is read, changed and saved in your browser, and the file never leaves your device.

What does keep pitch do?

The sound is stretched or squeezed in time without changing its pitch, so voices sound natural at the new speed. Turn it off for a tape-like effect.

Which speeds can I use?

Any speed from 0.25× (four times slower) to 4× (four times faster).

Does slow motion add frames?

No. Each frame is shown for longer, at the video's own frame rate, so very slow speeds look steppy on fast motion.

Which formats are saved?

MP4 (H.264, AAC) where your browser can encode it, otherwise WebM.
