FAQ

Common questions.

Have more questions? Reach out via our contact page and we will respond within 24 hours.

Is my script uploaded?

No. The script stays in your browser, which keeps it for your next visit until you clear it.

How is the speed set?

In words per minute. The script scrolls so that it passes the reading line in the time it takes to read it at that speed.

What is the mirror option for?

Teleprompter glass reflects the screen, which reverses the text. Mirroring the text makes the reflection read correctly.

Can I record myself?

Yes. Turn on the camera, then press Record: the script starts scrolling and the recording stops at its end or when you stop it.

Which keys can I use?

Space plays and pauses, the up and down arrows change the speed, Home goes back to the start, and F switches to full screen.

Which format is the recording?

Your browser's own format, MP4 or WebM, with Convert to MP4 for apps that only accept MP4.
